Man who died in shooting on H Street identified

The victim of a Saturday night shooting was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office Monday.

Joseph Jefferson, 23, was found dead on the scene about 8 p.m. in the 1600 block of H Street, near Owens Avenue.

According to the coroner, Jefferson died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The shooting is still under investigation and no new information was available Monday.
