Veterans services topic of UNLV open house

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Office of Veterans Services will hold an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday for veterans to hear about education benefits, career counseling and vocational rehabilitation.

The event includes talks by representatives for the services office, the Department of Veterans Affairs VetSuccess on Campus program, the Veteran Student Organization and peer advisers.

A tour of the UNLV Veterans Memorial will preceed the event at 9:30 a.m. at the Flashlight sculpture located between Judy Baytley Theatre and Artemus Ham Hall.

The open house will be held in Room 208C of the UNLV Student Union, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.
