A 27-year old man died after a motorcycle crash Tuesday morning in a parking lot on Decatur Boulevard, near Flamingo Road, Las Vegas police said.

The man, who was not identified by police, lost control of a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle while speeding westbound through the parking lot at 4001 South Decatur Blvd., investigators said.

The motorcyclist collided with a concrete planter box in front of a vacant business after falling to the right and sliding through the parking lot at about 7:30 a.m., police said.
