Report: 1 dead after I-75 overpass collapse in Cincinnati

A construction worker is dead and a semi-tractor trailer driver was injured after an overpass on Interstate 75 in Cincinnati collapsed late Monday night.

According to a report from the Cincinnati Enquirer, the bridge collapse was reported around 10:30 p.m. Monday. Officials told the media the bridge was undergoing demolition.

“Crews are working now to determine a plan of action to remove the worker,” Cincinnati police told the Enquirer shortly after midnight. “It will be a long operation.”

I-75 southbound could be closed for two days, according to a tweet from the city.
