WASHINGTON — A Baltimore judge on Tuesday set individual trial dates for six police officers charged in the death of a black man from an injury in police custody, with the first trial to start on Nov. 30.

Officer William Porter will be the first officer to be tried for the April death of Freddie Gray under the scheduling decision by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams.

Gray, 25, died from a spinal injury suffered in the back of a police van, leading to riots in the largely black city.
