NEON WEDNESDAY

Domo delivers power pop

“To be undead is to be restless,” Domo singer and guitarist Jason Sukut announces on his band’s latest disc, “Baby Mercury.”

The group’s caffeinated power pop suggests as much: It’s a bundle of nervy tunes that have trouble sitting still.

The coed Tempe, Ariz., trio comes with a sweet-and-sour arsenal of slashing guitars and jumpy singalongs that hit like a sugar rush.

Take a cue from their namesake and give thanks to this bunch at 10 p.m. at the Freakin’ Frog, 4700 Maryland Parkway. The show is free; call 597-9702.
