One dead, men injured in two shooting incidents

North Las Vegas police were investigating the shooting death of a man found in the parking lot of a commercial center under construction in the 2500 block of North Rancho Boulevard, near Carey Avenue.

Police were called about 9:45 a.m. and found the deceased victim, who appeared to have received a single gunshot wound.

Earlier Saturday, two men were shot in the 1700 block of West Carey, near Martin Luther King Boulevard, police said. The two victims were rushed to University Medical Center in critical condition.

Police released little information about the two incidents and did not indicate whether they were related.

No arrests were made in the two shootings.

The identities of the three victims were withheld by police.
