One man dead, one injured in North Las Vegas shooting

One man is dead and another is injured after a shooting late Sunday night at an apartment complex in North Las Vegas.

Police were called to the complex at 6551 McCarran Street around 10:55 p.m. Sunday in reference to shots fired in a common area. When officers arrived, two men had been shot.

Both men were transported to University Medical Center. One of the men, who was not identified by North Las Vegas police, died from his wounds.

A 17-year-old victim was also taken to UMC, where he is listed in stable condition.

No motives or arrests were made in the case and the investigation is on-going.
