Pair of Rat Pack domain names for sale

A Donald Trump impersonator is putting two Rat Pack Internet domain names up for sale.

Nancy Sinatra already owns theratpack.com, but Las Vegan Robert S. Ensler says he's ready to part with theratpack.net and theratpack.org after holding them for about 12 years.

Ensler, 61, said he would take $7,000 for both or more than $5,000 for theratpack.net, "my most prized domain name."

Times being tough, he said he'll even transfer ownership for his SINATRA Nevada license plate for offers of more than $1,000.

"I'd like to raise a few dollars and take care of a few things," said Ensler, who has lived in Las Vegas about 10 years working as a comedian on the corporate circuit doing impressions as Trump, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin.

He owns about 90 domain names, including sammydavisjr.com, but was forced to give up deanmartin.com after the latter's estate sued him in federal court.

"I just own 'em to protect 'em from scalpers," said Ensler, who said he grew up in "Beserkley, California."

Two years ago, when Trump held auditions for "The Apprentice" at the Trump International Hotel here, Ensler was among several hundred candidates.

The first question out of the interviewer was, "Is that your real hair?"

MARK AND MERCEDES MILESTONE

She was a Denver radio station receptionist. His on-air partner had just left.

Management liked her personality and decided to give her a shot.

That was the beginning of the Mark and Mercedes partnership that ended up in Las Vegas and celebrates a 15-year run on Friday.

"When our station in Denver flipped formats, the station consultant recommended us for mornings at Mix (KMXB-FM, 94.1)," Mercedes said.

"The station had been on for a year and they didn't have a morning show. We tried out and got the job!"

The 15th anniversary party is being held Friday night at Red Rock Resort.

Their producer, J.C. Fernandez, who has been part of the team for 10 years, said one of his favorite memories was in 1999 when Donny Osmond called in to surprise Mercedes. "She broke into tears," Fernandez said.
