Police say man found in RV park died of natural causes

The body found early today in an RV park in the 1000 block of Fremont Street was of a 57-year-old man who died of natural causes, Las Vegas police said.

Homicide detectives initially responded to a 4:20 a.m. call of a body found wrapped in a blanket at the Western RV Park, between 10th Street and Maryland Parkway.

Investigators later ruled the man was a resident of the RV park and died of natural causes, police spokesman Jacinto Rivera said.

Officers spoke with the man's wife inside the RV park. Rivera was unsure why the man was cloaked in the blanket and outside the couple's RV.

Police did not release the man's identity.
