Polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

It's primary election day in Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Mesquite.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Registered voters must cast ballots at their assigned polling locations or, in the case of Henderson, at any one of 15 vote centers set up throughout the city.

To make way for the election, the Henderson City Council has rescheduled tonight's meeting for April 14.

After the polls close, the Clark County Election Department will post results from the five cities on its Web site: http:// www.accessclarkcounty. com/depts/election/English/2009/primary/Pages/NIndex.aspx

The county site also includes information about the election and links to specifics for each city.

The Review-Journal will post complete election results at lvrj.com.

Henderson voters can see a list of vote center locations or download a map on line at www.cityofhenderson.com/city_clerk/municipal_elections/2009_Election_Info_English/2009_vote_election_day.php

Election information for each city is also available by telephone at the following numbers:

• Las Vegas: 229-6311

• Henderson: 267-1400

• North Las Vegas: 633-1030

• Boulder City: 293-9208

• Mesquite: 346-5295

For races not decided today, the municipal general election will be held June 2.
