Radosevich knew he had a fool for a client — himself

One of the ironies in the theft case against disbarred lawyer -- and now fugitive -- Charles Radosevich is that he was defending himself.
That might explain why Radosevich, who practiced law without a license here for a decade, didn’t show up for calendar call prior to his trial.
Authorities believe Radosevich simply left town, rather than place his future, which included possible prison time, in his own hands.
Had Radosevich stayed and faced a jury of his peers, he would have had to go up against one of the brighter prosecutors in the district attorney’s office, Mike Staudaher.
In the end, Radosevich probably knew what his unsuspecting victims didn’t -- that he couldn’t be trusted to provide competent legal advice.
