Suspicious blazes plague Reno area

RENO -- Firefighters are investigating two more arson brush fires in a string of suspicious blazes this month.

Two small fires were reported Wednesday evening off U.S. Highway 395 south of Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Fire spokesman Joe Durousseau said the quickly doused blazes were suspicious.

Fire officials have been investigating a series of arsons within nine days at a regional park and near the University of Nevada, Reno.
