Residents offered deal on 'Le Rêve'

Locals can make a splash through Aug. 14 with a special rate on tickets for "Le Rêve," the aquatic show at Wynn Las Vegas, 3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

For $75 a ticket, locals get a spot in the splash zone and premium seating areas for the show.

Rave Motion Pictures to host
Family Film Festival this summer

Rave Motion Pictures is inviting families to enjoy free G- or PG-rated films at 10 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday in June and July at Town Square Las Vegas, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Movies scheduled to be shown are:

FUNDRAISER to benefit ANIMAL SOCIETY

Heaven Can Wait Animal Society plans to host its Gimme Shelter concert and fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday at The Village Lake Las Vegas, 30 Strada di Villaggio.

The event is to feature performances from U2 tribute band Arms of America and former Kool & the Gang lead singer Skip Martin.

PUERTO RICAN FESTIVAL planned
for SunDAY at henderson pavilion

The 13th annual Puerto Rican Memorial Day Festival is set for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway.

The event celebrates the Puerto Rican people in the community with music, food and art showcasing the culture and traditions. Admission is $10. Children 8 or younger are admitted free.

'RENT' performances continue
at Green Valley Ranch Resort

"Rent" returns to Ovation at Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway. At 8 p.m. every Tuesday during May and June, people can enjoy the RagTag Entertainment's production of the hit Broadway musical.

Tickets are $15, and all proceeds benefit Golden Rainbow, an organization that helps those with HIV/AIDS.
