Las Vegas Ballet company plans performances at summerlin library

The Las Vegas Ballet Company and the Kwak Ballet Academy plan to present spring ballet concerts at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Summerlin Library's Performing Arts Center, 1771 Inner Circle Drive.

Choreography is by Kyudong Kwak, with the music of Johann Sebastian Bach to be played by the Nevada School of the Arts violin ensemble.

Revolution Friday Nights offer concerts at Red Rock pool

Barenaked Ladies is slated to appear at 9 p.m. Friday at Red Rock Resort's Sandbar outdoor poolside venue, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd.

Barenaked Ladies has had several Top 5 hits, including "It's All Been Done," "One Week" and "Pinch Me." Concertgoers must be 16 or older.

Tickets are $30, plus tax and applicable fees, and can be purchased at any Station Casinos Reward Center and the Fiestas, by calling 547-5300 or logging onto stationcasinos.com.

Residents offered deal on 'Le Rêve'

Locals can make a splash through Aug. 14 with a special rate on tickets for "Le Rêve," the aquatic show at Wynn Las Vegas, 3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

For $75 a ticket, locals get a spot in the splash zone and premium seating areas for the show.

The show schedule is 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

FUNDRAISER to benefit ANIMAL SOCIETY

The 13th annual Puerto Rican Memorial Day Festival is set for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Parkway.

"Rent" returns to Ovation at Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway. At 8 p.m. every Tuesday during May and June, people can enjoy the RagTag Entertainment's production of the hit Broadway musical.
