Timberlake crew celebrates in style

Justin Timberlake and his posse went with a mixed theme of "Rat Pack" and "Mad Men" fashion for his Las Vegas bachelor party on Thursday.

Timberlake, who is engaged to actress Jessica Biel, wore a black suit, a bow tie and topped it off with a 1960s fedora.

And fittingly, Timberlake started the evening at Sinatra restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas.

About midnight, the 25-strong bachelor bash moved to Surrender, where the weekly Splash Dance party was under way.

While Timberlake remained out of sight in a bungalow that overlooked the Strip, several of his friends joined the pool party - not to be confused with Prince Harry's idea of a pool party - after changing into swimsuits.

Music producer Timbaland and his wife, Monique, stopped by to say hello.

About 2 a.m. they showed up at Tryst, where Timberlake was seated near Ryan Seacrest's table.

Timberlake, 31, returns next week to host the PGA Tour's Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

His wedding date has not been announced.

HICKS GETS EXTENSION

"American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks was on the telephone - and cloud nine - Friday after signing a one-year extension at Bally's.

The new contract starts Oct. 17, and, when asked for the end date, he didn't miss a beat.

"Hopefully infinity! I'm truly honored to be part the entertainment landscape of Las Vegas," said Hicks, who was packing the 240-seat Indigo Lounge during his June 30 to Aug. 30 Las Vegas debut as a headliner.

He has been blown away by "how supportive the entertainment community has been."

Three weeks ago the blues and soul singer was a featured entertainer at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., and hung out with Clint Eastwood.

"It's been quite a month," said Hicks, who won Season 5 of "American Idol" on May 24, 2006, seven months after his audition in Las Vegas.
