Tire store employee shot, killed in robbery attempt

An employee of a tire store near Lamb Boulevard and Craig Road has died in an early-morning robbery attempt, Las Vegas police confirmed this morning.
The victim, an unidentified male, was shot inside Llantera Del Norte, 4380 N. Lamb Blvd., around 6 a.m., police said.
The victim was taken to University Medical Center's Trauma Center, where he died. Police are searching for two suspects. One suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans and the other was wearing a brown sweatshirt and jeans, police said. It's unclear if the suspects fled in a vehicle or on foot.
Homicide detectives have been called to the scene.
"Looks like a robbery that went bad," said Lt. Lew Roberts.
