Town hall meeting with U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan

A town hall meeting on education was held at the College of Southern Nevada's Cheyenne campus on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 wth U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. Other panelists included Clark County School District Superintendent Dwight Jones; Ruben Murillo, president, Clark County Education Association;  U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan; Calvin B. Rock, a pastor; Luis Valera, vice president of government relations, University of Nevada-Las Vegas and chairman, Latin Chamber of Commerce; and Elaine Wynn, director, Wynn Resorts and national chairwoman, Communities in Schools. Nevada System of Higher Education Chancellor Dan Klaich moderated, both asking question himself and taking a few from the audience.
