Two boats, Henderson home damaged in early morning fire

Two boats were set on fire parked on separate parts of a Henderson street Tuesday morning, fire department officials said.

Henderson firefighters received a call around 12:30 a.m. of two boats ablaze on Paprika Way. When crews arrived, the flames of one fire spread to a nearby house.

One of the boats was parked on the street and the other was parked in a driveway of a home across the street at 1831 Paprika Way, which is near Green Valley Parkway.

Firefighters engaged in an "aggressive fire attack" on both fires. There were no injuries or motives related to the fire.

The Henderson Fire Department is investigating the fire. The suspicious fire caused more than $35,000 damage to the boats and the home.
