Two Reno women charged with defrauding Medicaid

RENO - A federal grand jury in Reno has indicted two women on charges of bilking the Medicaid program for more than $80,000.

The indictment handed up Wednesday charges Susan Hill and Cassandra Little with 28 counts of health care fraud, 10 counts of money laundering and 38 counts of aiding and abetting.

Authorities say the two enrolled as a Medicaid provider in 2009 and operated a business called Hill Little Community Living Program.

Prosecutors allege Hill and Little billed Medicaid for services that were never provided to Medicaid recipients.

Authorities with the IRS criminal unit in Las Vegas say the two could face up to 20 years in prison and $500,000 in fines if convicted.
