UNLV rolls over Holy Cross

Tre’Von Willis and Anthony Marshall each scored 14 points to help UNLV roll over Holy Cross 80-59 tonight at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Oscar Bellfield had 13 points and freshman guard Justin Hawkins added 12 for the Rebels. Marshall, a freshman guard, scored 11 in the second half.

The Crusaders (0-5) of the Patriot League trailed by 12 points at halftime and never rallied in the second half.

UNLV (4-0) hosts 16 th-ranked Louisville at 1 p.m. Saturday.

UNLV 40, Holy Cross 28 (halftime)

Sophomore guard Oscar Bellfield scored eight points as UNLV took a 40-28 halftime lead over Holy Cross at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Rebels shot 47 percent (15-for-32) from the field and their pressure defense forced the Crusaders into 15 turnovers.

Freshman guard Justin Hawkins scored seven points for the Rebels (3-0).
