Victim of stabbing was Las Vegas resident

The 21-year-old stabbed to death on Las Vegas Boulevard earlier this week was identified as Martin Antonio-Guadalupe by the Clark County coroner's office on Wednesday.

Antonio-Guadalupe, of Las Vegas, died Sunday morning at University Medical Center. The death was ruled a homicide by the coroner's office.

Las Vegas police were called at 12:02 a.m. to a fight in front of Hawaiian Tropic Zone. They found Antonio-Guadalupe lying on the ground, bleeding from stab wounds to his shoulder.

Detectives arrested Desiray Ortiz, of La Verne, Calif., on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.

Homicide detectives learned a group of people from California got into a fight with workers of a different business before the stabbing occurred, police said.

Ortiz is being held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center.
