Vince Neil can’t roll with this stone

Vince Neil is recovering from kidney stone surgery in Australia.

The hard-drinking rocker was singing with Mötley Crüe on Sunday when, after nine songs, bassist Nikki Sixx said Neil had to go to the hospital.

The drama played out on Twitter, where the band told the world about Neil’s kidney, and Sixx called Vegas-based Neil a “true warrior.”

Late Sunday, Neil, 52, said on Twitter he left surgery and would probably stay in the hospital another night.

“Thank you all for the kind words and prayers,” he wrote.

On Twitter, worried band fans paid tribute to how “rock and roll” this all was.

But kidney stones are rarely fatal. Past recipients include: Alfred Hitchcock, Napoleon, Michelangelo, Billy Joel, oh mighty Caesar, Lyndon Johnson, Burt Reynolds, Roger Moore, Kiefer Sutherland, Cole Porter, David Sedaris, Phil Jackson and Osama bin Laden.

Billy Graham got kidney stones once and blamed them on the devil. William Shatner sold his stone for $25,000 for charity.

If you’re being judgmental about Neil’s alcohol intake (because alcohol dehydrates, and dehydration intensifies stones), you should know a Swedish study found too much vitamin C increases stones.

With Neil, yeah, I’m guessing booze isn’t helpful. But who am I to judge?

I’ve had drinks with the guy while he was covered in blondes. It’s not like I said, “Hey Vince, you know alcohol has its pitfalls.”

By the way, Neil’s last pre-surgery tweet was a Friday photo of himself hanging backstage in Melbourne with his “friend,” 2012 Australian Penthouse Pet of the Year Nikita Sage. So he’s got that.

KARDASHIAN LOVES FILIPINOS

Rob Kardashian is being paid to celebrate his 26th birthday Friday at 1 Oak nightclub in The Mirage with friends and family, while they film “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

I asked Kardashian, who has been working out twice a day to lose 40 to 45 pounds, how he wants people to party with him at 1 Oak.

“If they want to come up to me, they can do whatever they want. But if they try to do something bad, they’ll get smacked, not by me, but that’s about it,” he said.

Wait, what does that mean when someone does something “bad”?

“In this country, you’ve got a bunch of (curse word for jerks). That’s just life,” he answered.

“But in a lot of other countries, the people are a lot nicer, believe it or not. I mean, I’ve been in a few countries, but the Philippines is what I’m really talking about. People there are just perfect human beings.”

Interesting.

But clubs are good in Vegas, unlike in L.A., he said.

“I love 1 Oak,” he said. “L.A. is definitely not the place for that at all.”

I also asked him what a girl has to do to get a dance with him.

“If I’m drunk, then I’ll essentially be filming a music video with everybody around me,” he said.

“But I honestly never drink, and especially right now. I’m focused-focused” on losing weight.

I told him he should get a Jenny Craig endorsement while slimming down. But he called me out for busting on him.

“Jenny Craig — isn’t that for just women?”

Probably.

SIGHTINGS

Actress Anne Heche checked out Donny & Marie on Saturday at the Flamingo. After the show, Marie walked up to newlyweds at the hotel’s Center Cut steakhouse and gave them leftover brownie crumbs. Yes, just the crumbs. “I had dessert for you,” Marie told the couple, “but it was so delish I had to eat it.”

Planet Hollywood headliner CeeLo Green took family members to see the Mob Museum downtown on Saturday night.
