Voters can cast early ballots in city elections

Early voting starts today and continues through May 29 for city elections in Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City and Mesquite. Early voting started Wednesday in North Las Vegas.

The general election is June 2.

North Las Vegas has three races on the ballot. Voters there will choose between candidates for mayor, Ward 3 on the City Council and a municipal judgeship.

Las Vegas has a single council race left, with two people competing for the Ward 4 seat.

In Henderson, voters are choosing a new mayor and a representative for Ward 3 on the City Council.

Boulder City voters are choosing between two people in a runoff for a council seat.

Mesquite, meanwhile, has six people competing for three council spots.

Registered voters can go to their respective city clerk's office to vote. Some municipalities are also operating voting sites in neighborhoods.
