Water main breaks at Basic High School

Classes resumed at Basic High School in Henderson today without one of the basic necessities — water.

A water main at the school broke over weekend, said Michael Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Clark County School District.

Trucks are pumping in water to keep the toilets functioning. Bottles of water are being distributed for drinking.

Rodriguez was not sure when the problem would be fixed.

The winter break ended today for the School District.
