A Reno man who admitted to carrying weapons and ammunition in his luggage at a Chicago bus station is in custody, Chicago police said.
Police discovered that 52-year-old Daniel Fenstemacher was carrying the weapons during a routine security check of all passengers at a Greyhound bus station Saturday. The weapons and ammunition were recovered from his luggage, which was already on the bus.
According to police, when Fenstemacher was asked if he had any weapons with him, he replied that he did, and was detained.
Police say Fenstemacher was arrested and charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
A message left Sunday at a listed phone number for Fenstemacher wasn't returned.
