Wednesday RJ edition in eBay auction

Yesterday's news will cost you more than today's.

Copies of the Wednesday edition of the Review-Journal and the thousands of commemorative editions published the next day are being offered for sale on eBay for as much as $175.

The editions, which highlight Barack Obama's historic election to president, are among thousands of copies of other newspapers across the country being sold on the popular auction site.

Several enterprising individuals are selling issues of the Review-Journal for as little as $.99, while most are selling between $5.99 and $15.

The most expensive bid? $49.99 for one copy.

For an election issue of The New York Times, some people are asking as much as $1,360.

Newspaper racks in Las Vegas and elsewhere were cleaned out on Wednesday as newspapers restarted their printing presses to churn out additional copies. The Review-Journal reprinted 10,000 copies that sold quickly.
