WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS SIGN DONS PINK LIGHTS FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH


Pink light bulbs will illuminate the Welcome to Las Vegas sign throughout October in honor of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The pink lights were officially turned on Thursday and will remain a part of the sign during the month-long awareness program.  The sign was designed by Betty Willis for Western Sign Company and erected in 1959 and is currently operated by YesCo Sign Company.
