Woman dies after falling out of moving vehicle Tuesday night
A woman died after jumping from a moving vehicle Tuesday night, Las Vegas police said.
A 2014 GMC Yukon was traveling north on Torrey Pines near Washington Avenue about 11:30 p.m. when the passenger in the back seat opened the side door. Police said the driver, 30-year-old Litishia Matthews, veered off the right side of the road when she turned around to see why the back door was open.
The Yukon hit a light pole on the sidewalk and 30-year-old Deja Allen was thrown from the vehicle. She died at the scene, and the Clark County coroner’s office ruled her death a suicide.
