Woman shot in apparent domestic dispute
A woman was shot this afternoon during what appears to be a domestic dispute near Rancho and Alta drives, Las Vegas police said.
The victim was riding in a car with a male suspect near the 600 block of Tonopah Drive about 12:40 p.m. when the incident occurred. It wasn’t clear whether she had stepped out of the car before being shot or fell out of the car after being shot, said Barbara Morgan, Las Vegas police public information officer.
The victim was transported to University Medical Center, where she was in critical condition, Morgan said.
The suspect was taken into custody at the intersection of Rancho and Alta.
