Hurricane Harvey won’t affect gasoline prices in Las Vegas?

I guess Las Vegas gas stations didn’t read the message from the governor that the Houston crisis should not have any effect on Nevada’s fuel prices. I have two so-called discount stations within eye view, and I have watched them raise their prices more than 10 cents a gallon in less than a week. One station raised the price 4 cents one day. Before the day was out, they had raised it another 2 cents a gallon. Of course, the other station didn’t hesitate to follow suit — just took a little longer.

I thought Las Vegas receives its fuel from the California refineries. Oh well, where there is opportunity, there is greed.
