Re: “West Virginia leads way on shots. How?” (Feb. 14 Review-Journal): I wondered why Nevada lags so far behind West Virginia in the distribution of the coronavirus vaccines. Then a light bulb went off. In West Virginia, the governor is a Republican and competent. In Nevada, the governor is a Democrat and incompetent.
Could Mr Joecks explain how many split-second decisions had to be made by the shooters between shots three and four, or five and six, or six and seven, or seven and eight, or eight and nine?
Elections determine who governs. They do not eliminate the need for limits on executive power.
Change is not what parents wanted.
