LETTER: Debt ceiling issue is back
As we again reach “doomsday” and the debt ceiling needs to be raised to avert catastrophe, the threats include Social Security payments, military payments and other vulnerable programs. I don’t see “not being able to hand out money and weapons to other countries” on the list. Maybe these expenditures are budgeted in. Or are they exempt from default?
