LETTER: School district training for substitute teachers
In your Jan. 28 article “Nevada eyes re-upping rule for subs,” proposed changes to the emergency substitute teachers’ qualifications would require at least one hour of training for them, to include “classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques.” Any teacher will tell you that allocating only one hour to such vital training is a joke
