LETTER: Vote count highlights that Trump’s impeachment was political

I fail to understand how anyone can claim that the impeachment of President Donald Trump is not political. Virtually every Democrat voted for the articles. Every Republican voted against them. The votes, as usual, were along party lines.

It seems to me that an action such as impeachment of the president should be bipartisan. This obviously was not.
