Liberal havens are also America’s economic engine

Your Saturday editorial, “Pricing out the working class: Liberal havens fare poorly in survey,” failed to mention that those Democratic strongholds you disparage generate two-thirds of the GDP of this country. The biggest exporters (Boeing, Google, Apple, Amazon, etc.) are in states with liberal taxes and regulations. California has twice the GDP of Russia. New York City has a metropolitan domestic product slightly larger than the GDP of Russia.
There are two sides to every story. In fairness, you should give both of them.
