Nevada faces tough budget choices when it comes to education

Nevada has a problem involving the costs of educating our children. Funding for teacher incentives at low-performing schools, expanded pre-K, reduced class sizes and increased teacher pay will cost billions that are not available.

Nevadans are going to have to make a choice: Either pay California-style taxes or find a way for parents to pay some of the costs for educating their children.
