School district budget shortfall highlights mixed-up priorities.

I read in the Friday Review-Journal that the Clark County School District will have to cut $43 million from its budget. And yet here we are providing millions for a new NFL stadium? What is happening to our community leaders?

Why do we give priority to funding a stadium versus funding our school system? Don’t our leaders realize that funding our school system is funding our future? It is a shame. I wonder how they get to sleep at night.
