Run more liberals, please

To the editor:

Thanks for adding several hours to my Sunday reading time.

I used to spend about two hours devouring all the articles in your Viewpoint section. As you already know, it has degenerated. Considerably. Now I spend five minutes perusing its slanted nonsense.

What a pity.

To the editor:

The Review Journal's columnists in the Aug 2 Viewpoints section, literally to a man, shrieked with rage against the Democrats. Me thinks they protest too much ... too much ado about, what?

Could it be the recent Commerce Department report showing that the economy overall has done "measurably better than expected"?

That yet another Democratic president is patiently, inexorably cleaning up another Republican mess, a mess of 1929 proportions?

These conservative columnists are getting so shrill only dogs can hear them. Sunday, they were absolutely operatic hitting one high C note after another. Where does the Review-Journal get them ... the Met?

If these conservative attack dogs keep pegging the apoplexy meter we'll lose them all and then what will we do for comic relief?

LETTER: Is there another Joe Biden out there?

Both the front-runner presidential candidates should step aside and give us some choices who are younger and have fresh ideas to get us out of the $35 trillion debt.

Clearly, some of Trump’s statements in recent months have driven a wedge between his campaign and religious voters, particularly those all-important evangelicals.
