Correction

A Sunday Review-Journal story incorrectly described the sequence of events following the 1990 death of a man by three Las Vegas police officers. A Clark County grand jury indicted the three officers and the Nevada attorney general’s office took the case to a trial, where a jury did not convict the officers. After the jury’s decision, state prosecutors asked federal authorities to charge the officers. They refused.
