51s cool off, lose two to Rainiers

The Las Vegas 51s, who had won 10 of their last 11 games, dropped both games Monday in a Pacific Coast League doubleheader against the Tacoma Rainiers.
The Rainiers won the first game 3-2 and the second game 6-2 in Tacoma, Wash.
In the opener, the 51s (48-54) scored on a bases-loaded walk of Choo Freeman in the second inning and a Ben Davis RBI single in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead.
But the Rainiers put up three runs in the sixth on two home runs off Las Vegas starter William Juarez.
Nick Green had a two-run homer to tie it, and one out later, Adam Jones hit a solo shot.
In the second game, Bryan LaHair had a two-run homer in the third inning and later added an RBI groundout for Tacoma (46-57), and Green led off the game with a home run.
Larry Barnes led the 51s, going 3-for-3 with a home run and an RBI double.
Las Vegas starter Dwayne Pollok allowed all six runs (five earned), in four innings.
