9 Cayanna – Must draw in off the also eligible list; been away 9-months, but is dropped way down in class for return.

Long Shot – 1 Miss Becca

Race 2 – 1 mile, Purse $30,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 God Of War – Claimed by Bill Morey off a monster maiden claiming win; surprised though he is not protecting the horse.

2 Big Business – Claimed by Peter Miller who turns to the main man Garrett Gomez; second start off a 11-month hiatus.

Long Shot – 5 Power Series

Race 3 – 5 furlongs, Purse $44,000, Maiden claiming $80,000, 2-year-olds

4 Rhodium – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; showed high cheese in his career debut.

5 Zippingaroundtown – FTS from the successful team of Paul Aguirre and Iggy Puglisi; watch the tote board for additional clues.

Long Shot – 7 Carving

Race 4 – 5 furlongs (turf, rail at 7 feet), Purse $73,000, Optional claiming $62,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 All On the Table – Perfect trip win last time under Garrett Gomez; he is riding so well, so focused, it’s great to watch.

10 Jet Blue Girl – Must draw in off the also eligible list; claimed by Peter Eurton and spotted nicely to win right away.

Long Shot – 2 Sizzling Gold

Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds and up

8 Trumpet Player Jay – Sliding down the claiming ladder to this $10K class; these are his friends and he’s beaten them before.

7 Celestic Night – Tepid chalk in a wide open heat; this is the most important race of the day being in the pick 4, pick 5 and pick 6.

Long Shot – 4 Arabian Storm

Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $36,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies, 2-year-olds

3 Likealovesong – FTS from Bob Baffert debuts for an $50K price tag; this obviously is among his culls and not a keeper.

5 No Commitments – Showed good speed in career debut; Robertino Diodoro babies have improved a lot in their second outing.

Long Shot – 8 Grey Tapit

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 7 feet), Purse $73,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

2 Massone – Flattered when Hoorayforhollywood won next time out; reunited with Corey Nakatani, an outstanding turf rider.

5 Causeithertz – Son of Megahertz has started to produce with Bob Baffert taking over the training; superb tactical speed to sit a trip.

Long Shot – 1 Zimmer

Race 8 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

12 Bev N Bud – Been second is 3-of-4 recent starts; Joe Talamo is going to have to put the pedal to the metal a bit sooner.

5 Quick Save – Improved a lot racing first time for a price tag; showed good speed, now is cutting back in distance.
