Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $29,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Big Note - Has the speed to attack early and force the pace; huge class drop offers him a big shot.
5 Format V. - Rafael Bejarano exits a big day Saturday; figures to win the last Betfair Hollywood jockey title by many.
Long Shot - 6 Nextdoorneighbor
Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
1 U Re My Candy Girl - Taking a huge class drop to face much slower group; saves ground, need not be much horse to win.
2 Tribal Spy - Another taking a solid class drop to face slower; showed some improvement off the claim by Ben Cecil.
Long Shot - 4 Full’s Figurehead
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $35,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up
4 Aerial Artist - Claimed by Paul Aguirre off a solid try; switches back to synthetics in a very weak group.
3 Tiz Snazzy - Draw a line thru last and his two prior races look good; can pull a small upset on his best day.
Long Shot - 5 Ebony Gold
Race 4 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $57,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up
7 Barocci - John Sadler can have a big meet as he is stabled at Betfair Hollywood Park; he won the SF Mile with Tigah on Saturday.
2 American Blend - Chalk despite one moribund turf race; we know he is in top form, gives grass another chance for Carla Gaines.
Long Shot - 3 Power Foot
Race 5 - 7 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up
5 Atticus Jack - Turned in a rare stinker last time on sod; switches to synthetics where he has an excellent resume.
7 Charlie’sboywins - Should get a lot of value as this 6-YO is from an unknown barn; this guy has run some good races though.
Long Shot - 3 Plenny of Henny
Race 6 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $52,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
7 Just Fishin - Two tough beat under Gary Stevens, now switches to Tyler Baze; Stevens is in Louisville thru the KY Derby.
6 Cacau - Showed good speed in last two starts; one of these days he’ll lead turning for home and no one will come to him.
Long Shot - 11 Corinthian’s Song
Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $54,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds
5 Home Journey - Tepid chalk showed good speed in last; one angle here is the favorite may be lone early speed.
3 Blushing Angel - Not often can you say a 6-horse field is the hardest race on the card; will sit in arrears for one run.
Long Shot - 6 Miss American Pie
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf), $100,000 Wilshire Handicap, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
4 Moone’s My Name - John Sadler in line to win another; this mare has a large upside and this is a step in the right direction.
1 Purin’s Dancer - No shame chasing Mizdirection in the Las Cienegas; stretches out where the pace will be much softer.
Long Shot - 6 Byrony
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up
5 Warren’s Wesley - Leap of faith that Rafael Bejarano will find a way; maybe a jockey’s race with a race full of plodders.
7 Patriotic Lion - He is 0-for-21 but few in the field can run; hard to leave out of trifectas and superfectas.
Long Shot - 14 Jaco Red
Best Bet - 7 Just Fishin (race 6)
