Charlotte Dujardin wins Grand Prix dressage competition at FEI World Cup Finals

Great Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin and her horse, Valegro, the reigning FEI World Cup dressage champions, finished with a score of 85.414% to win the Grand Prix dressage competition at the FEI World Cup Finals on Thursday before a crowd of 7,344 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Dujardin and Valegro are the only duo in the history of dressage to hold Olympic, World, European and World Cup titles simultaneously, as well as all three world records.

Edward Gal of The Netherlands, aboard his 2012 Olympic mount Glock’s Undercover N.O.P., scored 79.057% to finish second. American Steffen Peters, who won the FEI World Cup dressage title in 2009 when the final was last in the United States, was third aboard Legolas 92 at 76.843%.
