College of Southern Nevada roundup: Baseball, softball pick up wins

Joey Lauria, Tyler Condie and Nate Potterf comined on a three-hit shutout, as the College of Southern Nevada baseball team (8-5) rolled past Okanagan College 8-0 on Friday at Morse Stadium.
Kayden Porter hit a home run, and Chad Whiteaker went 3-for-4 with a double.
The teams play again at 2:30 p.m. today.
Also, Sarah Rivera pitched a two-hitter in an 8-0 win, and Hope Curtis had a tiebreaking sacrifice fly and Destinee Chang hit a home run to give the CSN softball team (11-8) a 5-3 victory and a sweep of a doubleheader with North Idaho College at the Russell Road Complex.
The teams play another doubleheader at 10 a.m. today.
