Faith Lutheran greeted by large crowd after first state title

Faith Lutheran won the NIAA Division-1A state championship in Reno by defeating Fallon, 17-0. It was the first championship in football for the school which was founded 34 years ago.

A crowd of around 300 greeted the players and coaches in the parking lot of Faith Lutheran High School after they returned by bus from Reno.

Head coach Vernon Fox was impressed with the atmosphere, and said that it was the kind of scene he was trying to create around Faith Lutheran football when he took the head coaching job this year.
