The state attorney’s office in Tallahassee issued a warrant for suspended Florida State quarterback De’Andre Johnson, who is accused of punching a 21-year-old woman in a bar on June 24.
Johnson is accused of misdemeanor battery and prosecutors told ESPN that video of incident was captured on a security camera at the establishment.
Johnson was suspended by Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher last week. He enrolled in January and was expected to be a backup to Everett Golson and Sean Maguire.
Johnson was Mr. Football in the state of Florida in 2014.
