Floyd Mayweather’s new $4.8M car is one of only two in world

Floyd Mayweather Jr. took to Instagram on Sunday to show off his new toy, a $4.8 million Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita car that is one of only two in the world.

The Trevita — which is a Swedish abbreviation for "three whites" — can accelerate from 0-to-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 254 mph.

The "Money" man posted a photo of himself posing with the car, with the caption, "My new 4.8 Million dollar car. $4,800,000.00 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita supercar KOENIGSEGG Is An ULTRA Boutique Automobile Manufacturer For The Super Rich. KOENIGSEGG made only 2 TREVITA'S for the World, and this is No.2 of 2. In addition it is the only USA Spec TREVITA Built in the World. The Origin of the car is Sweden. The word TREVITA means '3 Whites'. It is beyond a Super Car, and is classified as a 'Hyper Car.'"

According to the Daily Mail, Mayweather has a $54 million collection of vehicles that includes three Bugattis, three Ferraris, a Lamborghini, a Porsche and a $47 million Gulfstream V private jet.

For Mayweather, who reportedly made $300 million for his fight with Manny Pacquiao, buying a $4.8 million car is the equivalent of someone making $50,000 a year buying a car for a little less than $1,000.

According to TMZ.com, Mayweather took his new Trevita for a spin to the Fatburger restaurant on the Strip early Sunday and popped the hood to show onlookers the car's high-powered engine. However, after a crowd gathered, Mayweather called in a flatbed truck to haul the car back to his mansion.

That must've set the poor guy back a bit. Not to mention the cost of the Fatburger feast.
