The Las Vegas Bowl will be played Dec. 20 at Sam Boyd Stadium, according to an announcement from ESPN Events.
The game is to kick off at 12:30 p.m. and to be televised nationally on ABC. The bowl features the top pick from the Mountain West against the sixth pick from the Pac-12 Conference. Last year, USC defeated Fresno State, 45-20.
It will be the third straight Saturday game and the second being sponsored by synthetic oil manufacturer Royal Purple.
