• BONANZA -- Wrestler Mike Zellner placed second at 112 pounds at the Las Vegas Holiday Classic.

• BOULDER CITY -- Wrestler Jake Thormodsgaard went 5-0 with five pins at 171 pounds at the Wolves Duals.

• CHAPARRAL -- Girls basketball player Jacquie Ferguson had 12 points and six rebounds against Desert Pines. Wrestler Jose Borja went 4-0 at the Wolves Duals.

• CHEYENNE -- Boys basketball player J'Quon Wroten made the all-tournament team at the Las Vegas Prep Championship.

• CIMARRON-MEMORIAL -- Wrestler Anthony Heaps went 5-0 with three pins at the Marty Taggart Duals.

• CORONADO -- Girls basketball player Nicole Ruffino had a total of 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists against Liberty and Green Valley.

• DESERT OASIS -- Amanda Crofford bowled a season-high 191 game against Western. Wrestler Nicholas Lara went undefeated at 130 pounds at the Wolves Duals to improve to 17-2 this season.

• FAITH LUTHERAN -- Boys basketball player Brett Lubbe averaged 20.7 points and was named Silver Division Most Valuable Player at the Bishop Gorman Holiday Classic.

• FOOTHILL -- Wrestler Joseph Montero went 4-1 with three pins at 125 pounds at the Marty Taggart Duals.

• GREEN VALLEY -- Wrestler Daniel Allen placed eighth at 152 pounds at the Reno Tournament of Champions and fourth at the Sierra Nevada Classic.

• HENDERSON INTERNATIONAL -- Girls basketball player Lee Harrison made the all-tournament team at the Rock Holiday Classic. Boys basketball player Jay Sutorius made the all-tournament team at the Rock Holiday Classic and leads the team in scoring and rebounding.

• LAS VEGAS -- Boys basketball player Hasaan Henderson averaged 17.8 points and 7.5 rebounds at the Las Vegas Prep Championship.

• LEGACY -- Wrestler Dylan Knowles won five matches by pin to improve to 15-1 on the season. Girls bowler Aubry Calabrese rolled a 232 game against Shadow Ridge.

• SIERRA VISTA -- Wrestler Andrew Ramos won the 285-pound title at the Las Vegas Holiday Classic. Girls basketball player Jeanette Jackson had 30 points, 10 steals, five rebounds and four assists in a 59-46 win over Pahrump Valley.

• SPRING VALLEY -- Girls bowler Samantha White had a 465 series, including a 190 game, against Western.

• VALLEY -- Boys basketball player O'Neal Brauthigam averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds at the Las Vegas Prep Championship.
